Through unremitting researching by the researcher of our company, cooperated with light alloys research institute of CSU (central south university), base on patent 4873054# USA, our company has succeeded finally in producing super Al-Ti-C aluminum grain refiner, which is much better than optimum first grade Al-Ti-B grain refiner. Its refining effect is comparable with the same product of Europe and American made, or even much better. Our alloys components are mainly defined into two kinds: Al-5Ti-(0.1～0.5)C, Al-3Ti-(0.1～0.3) C. Through experiments over and over again, our product Al-Ti-C grain refiner owns some out- standing advantages, such as stable property, excellent effective duration (anti-fading capacity), it can make the aluminum products gain more fine isometric crystal, it can effectively overcome the common defects of aluminum products such as crackle and cold separation, and significantly improve the strength and tenacity of aluminum products.
