The wood charcoal powder is a powder made from crop straws and forestry residues. Nowadays, charcoal powder is used in many fields such as industry, agriculture and households. It can be used for metallurgy, pharmacy, soil improvement, and it can be used for adsorption of formaldehyde to remove harmful gases, dehumidification and deodorization in the family. Charcoal powder can also be used for metallurgy. The pig iron smelted by it generally has the characteristics of fine-grained structure, tight castings and no cracks.
Features
The wood charcoal powder has adsorption capacity and is a non-polar adsorbent. In addition to carbon, it also contains a small amount of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur and other elements, as well as moisture and ash. It has good adsorption performance and stable chemical properties, can resist strong acid and alkali, and can withstand water invasion, high temperature and high pressure without being damaged. It has a huge specific surface area and particularly developed micropores, and is dominated by physical adsorption, but also performs some chemical selective adsorption due to the existence of surface oxides.
Application
The wood charcoal powder is suitable for sugar, pharmaceutical, beverage, wine and other water purification industries. It is also widely used in decolorization, purification, purification and sewage treatment of organic solvents.
