Astaxanthin, also known as haematococcus pluvialis algae extract, is carotenoids,one kind of a strong natural antioxidant. Like other carotenoids, astaxanthin is a fat-soluble and water-soluble pigment, It can be found in shrimp, crab, salmon, algae and other marine organisms .
